The shell of this drum was upside down!!
The snare beds were on "top" & covered with masking tape... when I took all parts away, I realized that batter side edge was in excellent condition beneath.
SFT t/o lever was broken (very usual with these), but replaced it with another.
SFT snare makes this drum very sensitive; it's not just loud, there's a lots of quiet tones available.
Great snare drum!
